That was just lots and lots of subs, I'm not sure now but I think in total it was something in the region of 5 or 6 hours worth of 90 second subs from a couple of nights or so, then really careful processing so as not to bring out the flaws in the St80's optics. You'll notice a lot of blue in the stars, that is the real downside to the st80. It really was a case of sticking at it to prove that something half decent could come from a budget scope on an unguided mount. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
