Put in your location, time, etc which can then be remembered by the app. Enter difficulty you wish to view at (naked eye up to mag10) and type of objects,( planets, galaxies, asteroids etc etc.) You can tick all the lot if you like a busy night ! It will then list what you might see in the sky at those parameters. One can then select objects of interest and Dec and RA and info are given.
