Ambergate and perseid meteor shower

hi all! hope everyone is well.

 

I was thinking of watching the perseids from ambergate. can someone give me directions please as this will be my first time. I hope other people will be there as well?

I know its a meteor shower but i'm still take my scope with me. I had a new 2" oiii filter and 11mm explore scientific 82 eyepiece for months that I have not used cause of work or weather

Hi Tony - you may get a better response in the EMS Meets section under Info and Announcements. That's where everyone looks for upcoming meeting proposals. It usually helps to include a weather forecast too - at least it sparks a discussion.

Also when were you thinking of going, the Perseid lasts for a week or two with the peak at 13th August (I think). You need to let us know when you were thinking of going up!
