cooling fan connecting

one guy from this site gave me an advice to put cooling fan for my dobsonian. i am willing to do it but have a little problem. how to power pc cooling fan to my power station. it has cigarrette lighter plug. i am not really good with electrical things but know a bit. can anyone explain me how to do it properly or knows a site where it explains. tried google it but no luck so far :(

Hi yeah that was me :)

So you use your normal cigarette lighter 12 volt tip positive power cable that would go into the mounts power socket but you purchase a splitter cable from here http://bit.ly/W2gamG and the you need a little extension cable to reach the fan at the end of the OTA as that's where it velcros on and you can get one of those here http://bit.ly/15DNyZi

If you need any further clarification just shout up and I'll take some pics of my setup and post them on here. Hope that helps :)

thank you felix. yes, if you could upload some pictures that would be really helpfull. i have a pc cooling fan and a cigarrette lighter plug but dont know how to connect them two  to my power station.

Personally im not sure about draughts inside your tube but I suppose greater minds than mine have thought of that :unsure:
