Guest memento2me Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 one guy from this site gave me an advice to put cooling fan for my dobsonian. i am willing to do it but have a little problem. how to power pc cooling fan to my power station. it has cigarrette lighter plug. i am not really good with electrical things but know a bit. can anyone explain me how to do it properly or knows a site where it explains. tried google it but no luck so far cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
catman161 Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) Hi yeah that was me So you use your normal cigarette lighter 12 volt tip positive power cable that would go into the mounts power socket but you purchase a splitter cable from here http://bit.ly/W2gamG and the you need a little extension cable to reach the fan at the end of the OTA as that's where it velcros on and you can get one of those here http://bit.ly/15DNyZi If you need any further clarification just shout up and I'll take some pics of my setup and post them on here.
