My second DSO image - M13. This is 50 mins worth of 2:30 min subs at ISO 800, tweaked in Paintshop. Sky was nice and clear but it was very windy, had to throw out quite a few subs. IC4617 is just visible in the top left.

very nice capture, i find it very easy to blur or burn out the stars in ther middle if not carefull.

Apologies for resurrecting this one, but I wanted to show the difference flats made to the image (the original had none). Now that I know how to do them, hopefully my future images will be that bit better.

Hey that's absolutely grand Lee...this is my favourite cluster. The flats, I think, have really brought out the detail at the centre.

That is nice. You really get the feeling of depth looking deep into the cluster.

And even more impressive given the light pollution the garden.
