I spend most of my time over at the Astronomy Shed but it's nice to have a local forum too, so thanks to the admin for putting it together. I was told about EMS by a guy on the Shed forum and posted a hello over at the Stargazers Lounge then saw the post about the new site! lol I'm new to astronomy but enjoying diving in at the deep end of imaging. So far I've got myself a ST102 on a EQ5 pro mount controlled by EQMOD and CDC, USB motorized focuser, long exposure webcam (with another on it's way) and all the other bits and bob's that go along with imaging! It's a steep learning curve but I've got it about right a couple of times (with a lot of help!) and been overjoyed with my results so far :-) Anyway Im looking forward to getting to know you guys and contributing where I can. Guest Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 And me Iv only ever got to mount my camera even last time out when I had it set up for a couple of days I still never had first light through it It will be 2 soon And I bet fed up of being mounted to the scope but never used Good job it cannot talk Never mind I will get there one day I hope even it its a point and shoot at whatever attempt LOL.
