Avalon Linear Fast Reverse Mount & AA 115EDT-APO

Kim (suggested) I post an image of my mount.

It's an Avalon Linear Fast Reverse mount with an Altair Astro 115 EDT-APO mounted on board.

Some of the cables in the photo I've retouched out (poorly) as they no longer run where they were shown in the photo

Pier is one of Graham's 8-inch jobbies

Observatory is almost fully insulated - just a couple of strips to fill-in at some stage.

That's a thing of beauty Francis! Am I right in thinking you live in the southwest? I grew up (age 7-20 years) in North Devon-lovely part of the country and the skies are amazing in certain places as I'm sure you'll know if I am correct in my assumption.

Thanks All,

Ron: the tape is insulation around the dew heater - people keep telling me to put it on the main tube but it works there and I can still move the shield back-n-forth if needed

Felix: Yes - on a south facing slope just outside South Molton (south horizon ~ 2° :) )
