Can't believe I'm setting up the EQ5Pro and ED80! Been so long that I'm struggling to remember what to do next!


Anyway the Moon is looking good but Mercury is behind the house, nevermind! Waiting for Polaris to show its face and try the new


polar scope light (just got to think what to do when I look through the polar scope! :) )


Will do a first light write up later, hope you all (those that can!) have a good, clear night!!

Hoping to get out tonight also Ron, don't finish work toll 10:30pm so im sure the clouds will have rolled back by then

Hope not Rob, some high floaty cloud about and the seeing is'nt top notch, but it's CLEAR!!

Of course its Bl@$dy clear, i'm without a mount at the moment-


HEQ5 = no tripod


EQ2 = Won't hold my 150p and definitely not the 200p


TAL2M = needs restoring....

Started to watch a film, had a look outside, nice & clear, film finished, wall to wall cloud.


Should have known a film with Kevin Costner in it would give the cloud time to roll in again.......
