Conditions were quite bad and most of the 40 odd frames I took were unusable. However, I used a 127mm Mak with Konica Minolta DSLR at prime focus.

I stacked using Microsoft ICE and did some minor adjustnments using GIMP.

Impressed you got it all in the FoV with the Mak and the DSLR. Nice shaddows cast along the terminator.


 


It looks grainy to me. Is it possible to see one of the single subs? Is this something which has happened during stacking? I've never used MICE for stacking, just for playing with mosaics. Did you try stacking it in Registax?


 


Well done for braving the elements, it's been as windy as anything in Nottingham for the last few days. My garden fence is hanging on by a wire (literally); any more wind and it is going to take the side of the house with it :(
