Well after the death of my SPC and the replacing with the new X Box Live Cam I am back in the imaging again.

Taken tonight.

M1 in HA

Gt 81

Atik 314 L

16 subs at 600 seconds

Stacked in DSS

Rough polish in PS 6

I think mr blobby had a lot to do with the poor quality as the subs were very snowy.

But what the heck its an image.

Glad you go sorted Graham, nice detail there :) .  But do you know what happened to the stars?  I am no expert

and I am sure there will be one along in a minute, but they are just not right somehow?  It could be my monitor here

Thanks folks but it is rubbish really.

Sheila I had to use so much Gamma reduction in PS to kill off the snow it also killed off the stars.

The crab itself is awesome maybe you could do the same area again and then layer mask it in to the new star field :)

Nice one Graham - think a bahtinov mask might help with the focusing - great to see you posting images
