Xtreme Delights in Orion

Magellan Boy

Recommended Posts

Took some more images with my Mallincam Xtreme X2 on the 20th February. All taken using the MFR5 focal reducer and an Astronmik CLS-CCD filter through my 10" Meade ACF SCT. AGC was set to 5 and Peltier cooler on continuous. No guiding was used and the images were captured using the Miloslick control software. The stacked versions were processed using Nebulosity v3, Photoshop Elements and Astronomy Tools.

Nice set of images Mike.

Interesting to see the difference between single exposures and stacked multiple exposures....

Thanks Ade! Yeah I thought I'd show both types of image as this camera bridges the gap between observing and imaging.
