Guest Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) This is one of my fave deep sky objects and is usually overlooked in favour of M34, the double cluster and many other nearby ones. Now I have a T-ring and T-mount, there's a lot more I can do and I'm hoping for some clear weather to try out other targets. I took several 3.2 second exposures at ISO 3200 at prime focus. I also wedged the camera with a 2nd tripod to add stability.
