No, I'm not really sure the laser is collimated itself, I have the red dot smack bang in the middle of the donut, and on the crosshair but it still looks fuzzy. philjay Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I think of it this way We have chosen to invest alot of time and money into a hobby which requires clear skies in a country where clear skies are a rarity so unfortunately its a fact of life that the kit isnt going to get used as much as we would like. I use this time to swat up on my astro spotting skills and gear googling. (drooling). I've really got my heart set on a 12" skywatcher Dob with GOTO. Just got to get that mortgage to buy it. Lol. Yeah the scope needs looking at by more *expert* users lol (buttering you up ) Maybe it's just out of collimation, I need to check my laser.
