Light pollution survey & free sky charts

Hi all,

I know recently something was mentioned about light pollution.

Well, while trawling the internet looking at various things, I dropped on a site called Eyes On The Sky at http://www.eyesonthesky.com/Home.aspx

They seem to run a video each week and this weeks theme is to do with light pollution. They direct you to a site called Globe At Night - http://www.globeatnight.org/ - where this week they are conducting a global survey of light pollution.

Just wondered if anyone will be taking part and maybe we can post our own local findings.

Also on 'Eyes On The Sky' site they have some free sky charts for download. Could be useful.

I've seen this before, it's a cracking idea if they can get enough folks so submit data. I'll be up for doing so (assuming we get a clear night!).
