I like the gloves/mitts!

Yes, those would be very handy.

I have the boots and warm socks, I'm going to buy some ski trousers and base layers next.

Some great aids to keeping your feet warm are things called weezle boots. They literally look like sleeping bags for your feet. They are used by dry suit divers when doing cold water diving. You can actually get a all in one suit they are pricey though at around £180. The boots go for around £35. Theres also weezle gloves :). I don't work for them by the way, there just really good :)

*they're not there!

Checked out the Weezle boots - http://www.sdswatersports.co.uk/weezle-boots-690-p.asp they do look very warm but also look like you'd need something waterproof over them to keep the damp / mud out?

Skee-Tex boots are the best boots I've ever used for fishing, also used by cold store workers :- http://www.johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=682

Hi Dave,

Sorry I should have been more clear they are to be worn inside your Wellington boots ideally! They are instead of countless pairs of socks! :). I have fished since I was 4 Dave what kind of fishing do you like to do? Felix

Hi Felix.

Inside your wellies, well that makes sense to me now! :D

I was a late developer, didn't start fishing until I was 6! I fish for all coarse fish (except bream) & prefer rivers to still water: mostly barbel, chub & pike in recent seasons.

Cool. I'm more an all species angler too. Never seen the appeal of being solely a 'carper'. Not got out much this winter. Aim to do some river stuff before the season closes next month.
