Panstarrs from last night. 03.05.2014

Recommended Posts

Finally got the chance to get this one last night.

GT81

Canon 350

78 subs at 180 seconds

15 Darks

21 Flats

Stacked in DSS using the Comet mode.

Quality is not the greatest

First up is the Comet fixed and star trails.

This gives a great impression on just how quick this thing is traveling.

Second is the Stars fixed and the Comet trailing

Yes nice. Clever first image Graham. Some doughnutting of the stars in the second and third image, but not noticeable when not zooming in.

Nice capture.

super images Graham. Silly question maybe... Did you manually do a composite for the last image? And how to you track a comet? :)

Just set up a flickr account if you want to share images Steven. So simple and we can all see the picture within the post rather than having to navigate away from the forum.

Felix ,

as you can see from my test Steven has a Flickr account and when the link is correct the link works ok . Think its how he is putting into EMS - don't use Flickr so cannot really help - perhaps someone could give him a link to the tutorial i saw once on EMS  ;)

Steven , found this on EMS hope it helps

"Go to the image you wish to post. Bottom Right click on the box with the arrow coming out of it, click BBCode and copy the string in the box. Paste into reply and it comes up as above."
