I thought it was just me that hadn't been here recently. To cut a long story short, it always seems cloudy at weekends and I can't stay up until it gets dark during the week. I did a couple of constellation shots last weekend but, apart from that, it's all been Sun and Moon from me:

The Sun is even quiet in hydrogen alpha light now, though.

I thought there was a big "plume" (sorry forget proper name  :( ) last week - saw some pics on some Astro site Wed/Thurs

I missed it due to weather. Today I saw a filament and caught a "plume" (prominence) on camera that I didn't see. However, compared to earlier this year, it has been quiet when I've checked. Here's today's:
