had a go at another target last night, still not ideal but couldn`t resist,

4 x 4 minutes of lum channel,

10 x 2 minutes of RGB binned 2 x 2

no darks as the camera was down to minus 8 again even on a very warm night.

did take another 10 lum images but for some strange reason they won`t stack !  :chin_scratch2:

Nice balance on the colours. Are you using flats/bias

didn`t take any flats and didn`t take any darks so no bias either, just the light frames.

what are you stacking them in?

good start more data data data data

stacking them in deep sky stacker Steve.

i took 10 luminance images as it was getting darker and then took the RGB subs, then went back to take another 4 luminance subs, the last 4 are the only ones that will stack for some weird reason.

Thank matey,

It rained last night and was cloudy but I went out to let cat in about 11:30 and it was clear again so went and did 3 x 3 minute subs of RGB and adjusted my PhD settings beforehand and now have a better flatter line on my graph, tried stacking those 10 luminance subs that wouldn't stack and for some strange reason 6 out of the 10 stacked, very strange as I've made no changedto DSS program, when I get chance Steve I'll send you the fits files.
