philjay Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 Found myself passing through Stoke last night and decided to pop in to Keele Observertory, been meaning to do this for years. I was well impressed as it appealed to my tastes in old scopes. The 12.5" Grubb Refractor is magnificent And the Thornton 24" Newtonian (currently undergoing a refit) is something special Well worth a visit.
