Jupiter, venus & Mercury should be visible this eve after dusk, mercury low to the west, moon, venus & jupiter stacking south of west.

Thanks for the heads up.

There was enough of a break in the clouds to just get a glimpse of Mercury just above the horizon, hoping for better view tomorrow.

Had a great view tonight at 6.15pm, stopped the car at top of a hill just outside Mansfield. All 3 planets and the moon made a lovely spectacle. Mercury was plainly visible low down in the brightness near the horizon. Now with the sky getting darker a nice view of earthshine on the thin crescent moons darkside.

They did look spectacular as I arrived home from work. Managed to grab a quick photo on my phone - It's not going to win any prizes (but with a bit of imagination) it gives the idea!
