Hi Francis,

That is amazing, the larger pic from flickr has an enormous amount of detail. Adjusting the levels makes the contrast sharper. There are just so many fuzzies in there.

Congrats

Many thanks everyone for the comments. Just added a further 1 hour of luminance and 20 mins each for RGB:

Think its lifted it further:

Many have hit levels too hard?

Thanks both. Had another play with processing on this one which has tamed the contrast but gained in colour saturation - processed in PI.

Oh yes, definitely this most recent edit does it for me. Great balance of colour, contrast and not too harsh on the black background. Lovely job Francis

Nice great composure .........the last one to me is slightly over stretched ...to my eyes on this PC the background is starting to take on a gradient of green and purple........

Maybe its my eyes, this is the kind of thing i get with a QHY8 that is driving me potty. however it might just be me,

Thanks All for the comments. I managed another 1½ hours last night on this but the processing is driving me nuts at the moment...

Russell, This has been pushed and pulled to lift the colour and the tidal streams between and the background has suffered for that. If I can get this last set of subs to co-operate it might save things. I guess its right on the limit for my 8 inch and sky conditions

DBE (and ABE) have been used on this at different stages. I think I need to go back to the original files look at each and make sure they are all the same bit depths etc., and take it again from there - could take a while
