The monster group is right on the limb this morning. I managed to bag it before the cloud cover came over. Taken quite early through high mist.


 


Taken with WO FLT98, Lunt solar wedge with ND and polarising filters, QHY IMGOH mono camera.


 


Best of 2000 from 4000 frames, stacked, processed and wavelet in Registax only, (Pipp and AS2 didn't like this one for some reason). False colour in PS. Some cropping to remove stacking artefacts.

Super work. Really nice image. A little disappointed I didn't get to image this but at least I did get to see it over the weekend. Quite a stunner through a Lunt Wedge but couldn't achieve focus with the ED80 and DLSR body.
