Support for 15x70 viewing, Uniloc, Benbo?

Just bought some bins & have lashed up a support using a counterweighted lighting stand- I can lie back in a deck chair to avoid strain on a damaged neck, but the lashup is not very stable. A tripod would not hold the bins low enough for this kind of laid back stuff, and I was thinking of a Uniloc or Benbo type of tripod with a central lock, legs and post positionable at any angle with a ball & socket head, anyone tried this or other methods to get a relaxed viewing posture to suit a neck resembling an old chimney?

I used a Benbo coassic 1 with my 9x63s awhile back, dead stable but just a tad too short for me at 6' something like the mount in Petes link is far more versatile
