philjay Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) No not Olympus Mons but a shot of last nights moon with my little Olympus OMD EM10 through the Mak180 I was imaging with the Canon but after I couldn't resist trying the Oly out on the same target. This is a mosaic of 6 panes each pane 20 subs stacked in R6 and manually stitched in PS Its not as sharp as the Canon but last night even that had a hard time of it but the Oly is a clunky little begger, the shutter goes with a heck of a whack causing a few vibs which affect the final image. Oh well Ive scratched that itch and I shall stick with the Canon for lunar full frontals Oh and the original is 260cm x 260cm, this is a much smaller version, processing made my PCs eyes water a but Edited December 8, 2014 by philjay Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
