So stable for that design, must be giro controlled?


Would not like to come home with that as a bag of bits.

I'm sure its less hassle to maintain than the real thing, I worked on her from 1994 to 1996 when I was based at Heathrow.


Wish I had taken loads more photos of that time!

Use to go to "Goose dale" near Bestwood Nottm and watch the "models" flying there -some were on the same scale as the above but seemed to use Lawn strimmer petrol engines not jet engines.  I believe over a certain size they had to have special NATS license. Still like the noise of the V1 rocket engine powered models flown at Cranwell/Barkstone BMFA show.
