gfletcher Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Hi Guys I currently have a Meade LX10 OTA to which I have attached a Celestron f6.3 focal reducer. I am purchasing a secondhand William Optics 2" SCT Crayford Focuser which will eliminate mirror slop. My question is, will I be able to achieve focus throughout my eyepiece range if I attach the focal reducer and the SCT focuser? I will obviously be using a star diagonal too. Tweedledee Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Ditto, unless they changed anything in the focal path from the lx200 to the lx10 I think the two models are pretty much identical optically and the LX10 is just an LX200 minus the electronics.
