In between the clouds and freezing cold I managed to get out and do some imaging.


Decided to have a go at M45 as I hadn't imaged it before.


This is my effort.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can control the flare around the main stars. 


I tried a star mask but that didn't stop the flare, so I blurred it to twice the size but that just looked awful.


 


Appreciate any advice
