There has been and will be a comet visible for the whole of January, C\2014 Q2 Lovejoy, but if you see it or not depends on the cloud.

Should be OK for those size bins but it is faint, I spotted in my scope last week under full moon conditions but it was faint, if you are out prior to the moon rising and in relatively dark sky you may be OK.

Hi Dave,


Do you use Stellarium? Weather not looking great tonight... but I can talk you through downloading the data to import comet info into Stellarium if you like. The link/comments above are also good of course!


Expect (hope) to see a small fuzzy blob possibly with a hint of green colour.
