Guest Philmarriott Posted January 10, 2015 Share Posted January 10, 2015 In the dark I accidentally plugged a wrong plug into my com port on my heq5 pro mount and shorted all the connections. It will now not communicate with the computer or the handset so i think i have blown the board. Not sure which one though or how to test it?.. red dwalf Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 i`d have a word with Noel i.e. Glider Phil, he does electronics and might be able to help even if it`s to say you need a new board, at least you know. i think he`s in Wales at the moment though. Guest StevenWhatley Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Phil, John at Astrodevelopments.com repaired my EQ6 board when I did the same in October, he turned it around in about 3 days and it cost about £30 so give him a go mate..
