uncatalogued Planetary Nebula in Taurus

Doc

Recommended Posts

I have just read an interesting article on CN about an uncatalogued  planetary nebula near the star Aldeberan in Taurus.

It might be a challenge but I'm sure an imager would have a chance to capture it.

Have a read:

Might be a challenge for someone  ;)

Interesting-tough one to get any detail with aldebaran so close.

That's an interesting one.

As per the thread, a spectroscopy and or filters may provide a better idea if it is a planetary or a galaxy, but that would also be really tough at 9 arc minutes from Aldebaran.
