For our NEXT OBSERVING SESSION we'll be joining Alvaston Park Friends for some STARGAZING IN ALVASTON PARK this Saturday 24th January 2015 from around 4 pm onwards at the Pavilion, Alvaston Park, Derby. A variety of telescopes will be brought along by members and visitors are encouraged to bring along their own. We'll be on hand to offer advice on choosing and using telescopes and binoculars and finding your way around the night sky, what to look for etc. This replaces the observing session at our own observatory this month.
