Website migrated... Welcome!

The EMS website has been migrated to a new host in order to address the poor performance we were experiencing.

Everything has transferred over successfully, as far as I can tell, but please let me know if you get any bugs.

I'd also be keen to get a feel from you as to how fast it's performing, any down time, any slowdowns, etc.

...and yes, from a performance point of view the site seems much quicker.

Do we still upload photos / images the same way as before via Flickr etc ?

Nothing has changed so continue to use Flickr and the like. We have a lot more storage but it's by no means infinite. :)

Yes, for now. It keeps storage costs down as we don't have to keep increasing the amount of disk space needed to host members pictures.

I only use a dongle thingy for my interweb and the site is now way way faster than before.

Just one little thing. The message icon next to your name in the bar at the top, in between name and sign out, has gone. Button still works though.

I'm monitoring the server quite closely at the moment and it's not anywhere near breaking a sweat.
