Tweedledee Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 I'm having some problems getting on to EMS.Intermittently I keep getting the screen from last night saying that the forum is back online but I might not be able to see it for 24 hours. I can try to log in and it just goes back to the same screen, then 5 minutes later everything is normal again. Sometimes when I click post, I get a message box saying "An error occurred" "You do not have permission for this action".This has happened at least half a dozen times on the laptop so far this evening, but not on my phone.Anyone got any ideas to help me get the laptop back to normal please? Followed the instructions to clear the DNS cache, but that just gives me an error message. Didn't think about rebooting the router, so will give that a go. Cheers. Craig Posted February 18, 2015 Author Share Posted February 18, 2015 I'm looking into the issue with the wrong site loading, but it may be beyond my control. We're at the mercy of DNS servers being updated and some don't honour the update settings I set. It may be a case of waiting it out I'm afraid.
