Might be but you can't flush your DNS so unable to use on iPad so not smoking

Delete all history, close the app down by tapping the home button twice, swipe Safari up to remove the app from memory (if that even works) then restart Ipad, worked for me last night.

I'm having some problems getting on to EMS.

Intermittently I keep getting the screen from last night saying that the forum is back online but I might not be able to see it for 24 hours. I can try to log in and it just goes back to the same screen, then 5 minutes later everything is normal again.

Sometimes when I click post, I get a message box saying "An error occurred" "You do not have permission for this action".

This has happened at least half a dozen times on the laptop so far this evening, but not on my phone.

Anyone got any ideas to help me get the laptop back to normal please?

Thanks Sheila.

I tried rebooting the laptop, but that didn't do it. Followed the instructions to clear the DNS cache, but that just gives me an error message.

Didn't think about rebooting the router, so will give that a go.

Cheers.

I'm looking into the issue with the wrong site loading, but it may be beyond my control. We're at the mercy of DNS servers being updated and some don't honour the update settings I set.

It may be a case of waiting it out I'm afraid.
