cosmic dave Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 I have a pair of celestron 15 x 70 bins, well did have til wednesday night. Anyway looking for a comet think its gerradd ? I twisted the focuser on my right eyecup and the whole thing sheared off in my hand. BUM ! Its not fixable the plastic has snapped. I really didn't want to have to buy another pair. BAZ Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Personally I would use Araldite, I find it more reliable than Super glue, if you can stick it back to exactly where it sheared off from, it should hold, and still work if you are not over generous with the glue.
