I am so glad I did as it was exactly the same as what I saw a few weeks back when everybody was making me feel like I was losing my marbles saying that I'd just seen a 'Chinese Lantern'! I would trade both viewings in for a euromillions lotto win though! Then I would have the most amazing observatory and all the best kit and them still not know what to do with it! It was very spectacular, and we were very lucky to see it, even though we were out observing, we could have been at the eyepiece looking at Mars or the moon or whatever and completely missed it.
