I finally bit the bullet and brought my inflatable tent today and while I was there I picked up a couple of these bad boys.

Either red, dim white or bright white but you don't have to circle through to turn off. USB charged and also fitted with a dynamo. And has a loop for hanging.

Should be great for kelling and normal use.

I like the way you do not need to cycle your way through and blinding yourself before the red light comes on.

Not seen those before. Perfect for the camping astronomer. :)

Might get one for my garage, though I already have a dimmable red mains lamp in there.

Good price to.

You have to cycle first to get the light you want with the on/off switch then after a few seconds it stops cycling and becomes just off. But red is the first choice. Someone gave it some thought.
