I'm sure this bird was wondering why some fat bloke was pointing a telescope in his direction.


While attempting to image the moon (at midday) he appeared on the roof.


Prime focus image through the FLT132, 2x Powermate. Sony A7s camera  iso 100,  1/200 sec

That is sharp, you have every feather. They are nice looking birds close up, but an IQ of a house brick.

I'm very impressed with this camera. I'd never used (or heard of) focus peaking before, but its invaluable. 


Its not what i'd call a serious image. Just a bit of fun.

So true! They make our chickens look like Mensa champions. Our resident ones have flown into the kitchen window twice this week; no harm done, fortunately.
