A chap I know bought up old wireless and Hi Fi gear about 60 years ago, dirt cheap and stored it all. Now he sells it off bit by bit at enormous prices. Likewise another chap bought up old china in London junk street markets during the night, when the dealers first arrived. (Brick Lane). I daresay this chap on eBay has done the same thing. One section he would resell on a market stall he ran to earn a living. (Portobella Rd. London. etc) Another lot of greater value he was going to store and sell off when he retired, as a form of pension. The third lot was so rare and collectable that he would keep it for himself.
