Space rock past the sun at 18.40 today.

Was anyone observing the sun at 18.40 today.

I saw what appeared to be a rock tumbling, I could actually see it going head over heels in a tumbling motion. It moved left to right and took 3 seconds to transit the sun.

Great to see it.

I know this isn't astro but it might amuse. I used to go badger watching and set up an old twin lens reflex camera to take pix. Late one evening I was focusing the camera on a well used path when a huge animal came into view. I jumped back but there was nothing there. I looked back into the camera and realized it was a massively magnified earwig that had got inside the camera. Gave me a serious fright at the time!
