Windows 10/ astro laptop test

Copped a clear sky and needed to test the new install. No driver issues at all!


Picked the obvious target. Always a pleasure to see her pop up on the screen.


 


18x300s ISO 800. Canon 450D. Stacked and calibrated with flats and darks in Neb 4. Processed in Pixinsight.

It is what it is. Really pleased with how M110 is showing though, tbh.

OK Sheila, cheers.


My mount control cable is a home-made FTDI type and no such problems with that chipset. Prolific chips appear to suffer the most in the Windows environment.


 


There's loads more could be stretched out of this image. Fit file is in the Dropbox folder below if anyone wants to play :D

if you really stretch it quite a bit there is loads there, but more data would help, looks ok on my screen

try 2 x 90 mins and add together :)  you will be surprised how much it improves, then go for 3 x 90, you will get there :lol:
