Good idea. Like you say, hassle free solar viewing. I hope they look very different to normal bins, so no one picks up the normal ones and looks straight at the sun by mistake.

The yellow, red and blue colours sound like a good idea, but I imagine the black could lead to confusion.

Still use my 15 x 50 Canons a lot with my homemade Baader Astrosolar film filter.


 


The image stabiliser works a treat here....


Saw the 2004 Venus transit with them, this years solar eclipse back in March


Next May 2016, hopefully i can bag Mercury as it transits the sun.
