This is my second attempt at Jupiter, This time i used a Antates 2x Barlow on the end of the webcam and a LP Filter.

There is definately more definition to the Bands but the image is fuzzy.

What i'm i doing wrong ? All i want is a nice clear and contrasty image . :(

Don't get me wrong i am happy with the image but i know that i can do alot better

I cant remember what the settings where Pat ... Last night was a bit of a rush job as i'd been on nights and was in bed most of yesterday.

What sort of settings on the webcam would you use for a lx on somthing like Jupiter mate

How many images were stacked in that?

I think it needs slightly more exposure and more frames.

You don't use LX for planetary, LX is long exposure, you want fast frame rates for planets :)

Cracking result never the less, details easily made out on the bands :)

Hi Darrian.

Definately caused by using in LX mode.

Shame rearly because that would have been a cracker.

Not a bad result

Jupiter is passed its best this time around

10fps if you can get it

up the gain low gamma and get at least 1000 frames
