M33 and M45

Hello all,

So my guide camera broke the other night so I had to switch from 30min narrowband subs to 90s LRGB subs. Thankfully it's happened during a new moon!

Anyway, as I could only take short subs I decided to go for two bright targets over two nights, the first one M45 was an absolute nightmare to process. No clear background to work from and I found it very hard to keep it natural looking and not too overdone. I think the main stars are a little over cooked but overall I'm really happy with it. Capture details are something like 50 x 90s Lum and 30 x 90s RGB.

Next was M33, which is the first time I've tried imaging this galaxy. Again all subs are 90s long and unfortunately I only managed to capture 9 subs for the blue channel but clouds rolled in! However thankfully it hasn't affected the image so I got lucky there! 60 x 90s Lum, 50 x 90 RG and 9 x 90s B.

All captured with my William Optics Star71, mounted on Avalon Linear with my QSI583wsg through Baader LRGB filters and using SGPro for software. Processed in Pixinsight.

Thank you all for looking.

Phil
