WOW.

I love it. I don't normally do colour but this feels very natural to me.

I love the feel of depth within the nebula.

Awesome stuff Allan.

Yes that is superb Alan :2thumbsup:

I see you've put a lot of effort into that both at EMS4 and afterwards. So much fine detail.

nice job Allan, i`d be tempted to process it in rgb too, don`t know why but some hubble pallet images don`t do it for me but others images look amazing,

were the 60 second ha subs for the core ? i`ve been doing 5 seconds for the core and it`s almost too long but i can make out the 4 stars at the center.

Thanks Rob know what you mean about certain images and colour but in these light polluted skies you've got to go for the Narrowband each time, guess I could of used RGB as i shot most of this at EMS 4 and used the Ha as Lum

All i did with the 60s and 600s Ha was mix them together then added the SII and OIII as normal only thing was I used a layer mask which I added towards the end to stop the core being blown out too much

Nice job Allan, lovely picture, all your hours of effort have payed off with knobs on! ? The detail is stunning!:):)

It always seems a bit strange to me to see M42 in such colour, I am used to only seeing it in grey usually, it is one of my most favourite objects to look at.

cheers!
