I'll grab a few 20 second rgb subs for the core and I seem to have some blue halos around the brighter stars, I know whats caused that, but I'm sure I can fix that in photoshop although I quite like them.

You have plenty of data.

may i suggest you back off the saturation and sharpening a bit, as to me it looks a bit harsh smoother ould look a bit more natural to my old eyes.

Having said that it is your image and your preferences :D:D

I will have another go at this I think Steve, I did try a new technique for by the colour saturation where you convert the image and adjust the a and b lightness levels, it works well at bringing out the colour though I might have been heavy handed with it.
