It was a very interesting talk starting out in the 1950's and ending with the launch of the first shuttle. I never thought I would see Fireball XL5 in a lecture but it was how the shuttle was supposed to be launched and not how it ended up -and why.

 

Peter said it was one of a four part trilogy- well it was to be three but he can now see a fourth lecture to get it all in.

 

Well worth other societies having him as a lecturer.
