red dwalf Posted March 19, 2016 Share Posted March 19, 2016 same here, and most of the time i hardly look at it any more, the seeing conditions make a big difference to the graph, i now prefer to look at the eqmod display, click on it until you reach the ra and dec gain screen, this will show you what commands are being sent to the mount, if they are up and down peaks and troughs, which they more than likely will be, then lower the gain until the gain until the graph smooths out, seems to do a better job than all the settings in phd.
