I've had the refractor out this evening......and your image was similar to what i was seeing in the eyepieces.

The seeing was not too bad, with plenty of detail there. The 4 moons were all to one side in a neat line.

 

I've never seen the GRS looking so red as it is at present.

Also the NEB is much darker than the SEB. I could see even darker areas in it, and at one point thought there was a shadow transit in progress. I checked though, and there wasn't.

Jupiter rarely disappoints does it ? Always something interesting going on....

You are right about the great red spot. 

It is shining like a beacon at the moment.
