I'm interested in how you go about planning for a potential ISS solar transit (a la Tierry Legault)

 

Is it a matter of traveling the necessary distance to see it, or it it a waiting game for it to come to you ?

I wait for it to come to me

use calc sky for timings

At what sort of frequency do they happen ?

Say over the course of a year.......??

i think i had 3 last year and 2 so far this and only 1 slightly successful capture
