Will the Kendrick split ring dew strip work with the AstroZap controller?

Cheers :)

I have the Altair split ring secondary heater and it's the business - you'll need silicon glue from Maplins to stick it on and then cover with expandable foam to direct the heat down onto the mirror rather than up in the air.

From the advert:

There are four RCA output jacks on the controller into which you can plug your heater strips. All heater strip brands will work, in addition to Astrozap heaters

All that is perfect Craig, I used to have the Astrozap controller and it's perfect for the task.

For an extra £6 I was going to get the below......

It's a 4 channel controller rather than a 2, not sure if the extra £6 is worth it or not, I though so for the extra control you would get?

Any thoughts?

I'd say I'd be running one for the secondary, one for the finder scope and one for the eyepiece. So 3.

In that case you need the four channel one, if you want each dew heater to have it's own controller.

The Hitec controllers are good - might as well chuck the extra six quid in and get four seperate channels :)

You can use that spare channel for a Telrad heater, either homemade or shop bought.

Don't buy any Silicon, I have a bit that will do.
